-PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) Level 3 and Level 4

Covering all aspects of Adult Tutor training, this course gives you an insight into all aspects of the role of the Tutor, assessment methods and evaluation strategies. Successful learners will be able to begin their new career of adult tutoring.

- Conflict Management in the Work Place

Enabling you to identify conflicting situations, this course will develop your understanding and ability to successfully resolve these situations, whilst informing you on the changes that you can personally make to control and ultimately avoid these situations happening again in the future. 

-Door Supervision Level 2

This nationally recognised qualification identifies everything there is to know about working as a Door Supervisor including conflict management and physical intervention. This course leads to the successful learner acquiring their SIA Door Supervisors License and enabling them to become job ready for the Private Security Industry

-Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events Level 2

Concentrating on the events and sports industry, this in-depth course will identify the duties of Steward’s in these environments. This course will deal with aspects such as customer service, crowd monitoring and the security of spectators whilst at events. Successful learners will be able to then work as Stewards at venues ranging from football clubs through to music festivals.

-Physical Intervention Level 2

Ideal for those who manage violent or aggressive behaviour, this course will identify the steps and techniques that can be taken when working with children, vulnerable adults and the general public whilst safeguarding the learner in the eyes of the law. This nationally recognised course is ideal for all front line workers working with the general public across the country.  

-Delivery of Conflict Management

Identifying what the roots of anger are, this course will help its learners recognise the key causes of anger and the preventative methods enabling the learner to defuse these situations by using a number of national recognised and proven techniques.

-Customer Service Level 2

Designed for those who want to deliver a high level of customer service, this course covers how to deal with customers in a variety of situations, what steps can be taken in order to get the most from a customer-facing environment and how to improve your own skills in this. Successful learners will be able to apply for relevant employment or further their own careers.

-Retail Operations Level 2

Aimed at people wanting to or are currently working in a retail environment, it will cover what is required of a competent person in this area and the successful ways in which you can better your skills by giving valuable lessons in such areas as managing staff, merchandise and trade description. Again successful learners will be able to apply for relevant employment or further their own careers.

-Functional Skills

Train4 pride themselves in the latest national qualifications and are therefore delivering functional skills. Functional skills are those core elements of English, mathematics and ICT that provide individuals with the skills and abilities they need to operate confidently, effectively and independently in life, their communities and work. Successful learners possessing these skills are able to progress in education, training and employment and make a positive contribution to the communities in which they live and work.
